I'm having a partial fundoplication and HH repair on Friday. I'm also a recent graduate looking for a job, and am talking to several companies. One of them wants to schedule a phone interview on Tuesday (4 days after my surgery). I'm wondering if this would be too early? I need to be recovered enough to where I can have a technical interview and sound coherent for 30-40 minutes.
Also, I will eventually have to get on a plane and do on-site interviews. My surgeon said I need to wait at least two weeks, but I'm wondering what you guys think? I've been very, very careful to not tell these companies that I'm going in for surgery, because I don't want to scare them off. I know you don't want to rush things, but I also know that the world does not wait for anyone (neither do bills). Companies need to hire people, and if you are too slow, you might lose an opportunity.
