So I’m having toupet fundoplication 270 wrap and my hernia repaired how long till you can eat normally again like you use to

You should have received post surgery diet to follow from your surgeon. Every person is different, but I strongly suggest not advancing too quickly.

Iv not received anything yet about diet I’m having my surgery on 22nd august

You may not receive dietary instructions until after your surgery with your discharge information. You can also call their office and ask for it in advance.

Never. You’ll have to chew your food well for the rest of your life. But it is still worth it, imo.

I’m just home from hospital after a redo and my diet info says at least 3 days liquids but I’ll do at least a week or perhaps 2 before moving to purée. It’s best to go slowly. I don’t know why my fundo slipped and ended up with 4 cm hernia with fairly constant heartburn but 4 years later here I am with a new doctor and high hopes. 😊
