My doc says I don't have an acid problem, but rather a hyper-sensitivity. But when I look up hypersensitivity online, it says its a hypersensitivity to acid caused by reflux... I'm VERY confused.

Sorry you are confused.. all I can say is talk to you doctor more in depth about what he thinks and what that means..

Ah, it's not from reflux, it's from a medication I've been on for about a year slowly generating more and more inflammation... that explains it.
