I've been dealing with unrelenting LPR for almost a year and a half now and nothing we do seems to help. I'm starting to become very concerned because I'm afraid of the possibility of developing cancer of the larynx. I'm 30 years old and started having voice problems in January of '06. I'm trying so hard to control it.
Does anyone have any idea how quickly something like that occurs? Should I be super-concerned? Or do i still have plenty of time? I see my ENT again on the 2nd (saw him last about 2 months ago and the didn't see any nodules or anything at the time, but my voice is really bad today, and no matter what I eat, when those belches come (over and over) I can feel my throat feel more and more sore.
I'm kinda paranoid. Anyone have some experience in the area to help calm down a troubled comrade?
