Hi all,
I think I've always had poor stomach emptying although I've never been tested for it. I started having terrible nausea when they put me on Nexium to control the acid. Even after having the LINX in June, I still get bad bouts of nausea especially in the mornings - this seems to co-inside with my stomach being full of wind which is quite difficult to shift. Anyway to get to the point - I'm rambling!!! - there is another drug used here in the U.K. for nausea & motility & it's called Metaclopramide. I took 10mg 3 times a day for quite a while, but one of the side-effects is breast pain which unfortunately I experienced to the point of it being intolerable. It did take a while to build up, & a while to go away, but I can now tolerate it on an "as & when" basis. Hope this is helpful, sounds like you really need something.
Hugs xx
(I'm stunned you can't get Domperidone in the States, you can buy a low dose over the counter here)
