Go on to the Nuffield healthcare and you should be able to search a gastro consultant near to you and if you need additional tests, you can transfer back to the Nhs and be under your consultant care. If you have medical insurance that's fine too. Usually the Nuffield consultants are highly recommended, I chose mine from there , I use dr Alan Bohan but he's based in Newcastle under Lyme .

Another way, is to go and see your GP and ask him to find you a specialist in the area that you require, I believe most GP's have access to a register which details all consultants areas of expertise.

Alternatively look through the Spire's lists of consultants in your required area, then Google a search to see if they practise locally on the NHS, if you don't want to go privately.
