Can gerd,hiatal hernia cause this??

Afternoon people....... Quick question can gerd, hiatal hernia, ingestion etc cause chest wall pain??? I have that and upper back pain n back of my neck head, bad tummy and hot feeling in my chest, I also do get like aching in my arms and back and headaches!!!! Before any one says get your heart looked at I have many times!!! My doctor has reassured me my heart is fine!!! I do get very anxious over this!! I do have a 3cm haital hernia as well and I'm a 30 year old female xxx

hiya , i hae just been diagnosed with hiatus hernia,acid reflux and gallstones and i have all the symptoms u describe aswell as more , i cant say weather its the hernia,or gallstones that cause them as they both started at the same time but 1 of them definitely can , if gp says its not the hernia causing it ask them to check your gallbladder

try drinking aloe juice from the health food store, well taking the meds your doctors suggests. It helped me and take a short walk before you go to bed.

Hello... I have never had my gallbladder checked to be honest!!! I will get my doctor to look into it thankyou again x

I’m a 34 year old male with Gerd and a 2cm hiatal hernia (just discovered a few days ago). My endoscopy about 16 months ago didn’t show a hernia. Just over a year ago I started taking Ranitidine and I was at 90% well being. I was naive and thought that was the end of that. I never got any chest pains until after rowing a few months ago. I had large pain in the centre of my chest that lasted about 3 minutes. I get the feeling this is when my hernia broke through. Not long after I started getting chest pains, mainly in the centre but occasionally anywhere around chest height, front or back. I’ve had my heart checked twice and everything says its fine. Then just last month my Ranitidine tablets stopped working. All my past symptoms came back and I’m in a terrible state.

Bottom line – I too get chest pains, front and back, mainly front. I also have a hot feeling in the front of my chest which I suspected was acid on my lungs but the doctor told me it couldn’t be. I took that with a pinch of salt.
