Had surgery on Thursday, home on Friday. Surgeon was Dr. Joseph Petelin of Shawnee Mission Kansas. He is one of the pioneers of laparoscopic surgery. He told me that my hernia was as big as a softball and did a nissen wrap. Other than the pain in my neck and shoulders from the gas I feel pretty good. As everyone says learning to eat differently is a whole new experience. So far so good. Tylenol is my best friend.

Welcome to the Healing Well yeah yeah yeah Wrapped Club! yeah yeah yeah Glad to hear you are doing well after surgery! I know the shoulder pain is bad. I found the more I walked, the better my shoulder felt. If you haven't tried the "walking cure" see if it helps. It really worked for me.

Walking is wonderful, eating is a new experience, glad my wife has a ninja blender, she is making me all kinds of things to eat
