Sternum pain and constant nausea

Was just diagnosed with gerd yesterday after goung to the hospital with what i thought ws a heart attack. Lower sternum pains, nausea, intense back pain and weird fluttering feeling in upper chest lower throat area. Does this sound like Gerd?

Sure sounds like a stomach problem is possible. If you were told it might be GERD! The best thing to do is see a gastroenterologist. You don't need the aggravation and expense of more visits to the ER?

They want me to see a slew of drs and they gave me 3 prescriptions. Im 34 with a 2 month old and two older kids plus i work. I have panic disorder and anxiety so the pain and nausea has been giving me crazy attacks. I had blood tests, ekg, ct scan and ultrasound of abdominal cavity done and everything was normal.

You really need to see a gastro doctor to see what's going on. The tests that you had will not give a definitive diagnosis of GERD. You might want to do a search on the forum and start with a GERD-friendly diet and keep a food journal to try and identify what your trigger foods may be.
