Has you know I had a Endoscopy two weeks ago and my doctor took six biopsies of the Barretts but a stricture had formed due to reflux so he couldn't complete the endoscopy. He put me on 30mg of Lansoprazole but ordered a CT scan for Sunday to assess the stricture the CT is for the Thorax, Pelvis and Abdomen. The stricture was benign in appearance but I'm so scared, my anxiety is sky high. Why would he order a CT scan and not just stretch the stricture with a balloon like pre-Nissen Fundoplication. I'm so emotional and terrified.
