It's possible that the dry heaving irritated the wrap, this happened to me when I had food poisoning. It's just like havng a pulled muscle, and will take a while for the pain to subside. Walking will help with the gas, or try taking an anti-gas medication with simethicone. I had the full wrap, and was well aware that I had lost the ability to vomit and was no longer able to belch as I had before surgery. I'm sorry that your surgeon has not been attentive post-surgery, it's so important to really do research before you make a decision. I'm surprised that anyone would recommend him for Nissen surrgery, with his crazy post-surgery diet. Your gastro doctor should be able to schedule any necessary followup testing, such as an endoscopy. You should always have a prescription of anti-nausea medication handy, I use Zofran - and it's been a lifesaver.
