eyes  am surprised at the lack of pain in my ankle.  I had total knee replacement in December and "exceeded expectations" in the physical rehabilitation area.  But I

continued to struggle quite a bit with pain in the ankle.  Now I am doing very much better and am very happy.  Hope it is not just a passing thing.  Want to have 100% recovery.

Glad to here you are progressing well. Was your ankle pain caused by needing a TKR? Just wondering if it is something I have to look forward to.

i don't know...figure it is gravity...the next big joint down is the anke and whatever the "new knee" didn't want to handle...the "old ankle" had to. Saw two surgeons and an orthopedic specialists and they all said it was normal.

it is improving but it is nasty hot and humid here and i also have asthma so it has been
hard but i do keep swimming and hope to walk more when it cools down.

it is a painful surgery but worth it if you knee is painful already...what do you have to lose? and it gets better every day.

I know what you mean about the heat. (Over here in MA) The humidity level this morning was at 82%.

upstate ny and all of ny is steaming. lucky to have a pool nearby to swim in. my friend brought me a fresh cuke straighten from her garden and it was delicious.
