Hello Sarah,
I was the one who suggested you go to the A & E due to your concerns and your symptoms. Because a transient ischemic attack is short-lived, the doctor may diagnose a TIA based just on the medical history of the event rather than on anything found during a general physical and neurological examination. To help determine the cause of a TIA , your doctor may rely on follow up tests, at least where I come from.
What was the Drs. diagnosis at the A & E ?
I know you have been anxious over the symptoms you have been having but perhaps your issue may be anxiety that is causing these events. The other suggestion I would like to make is to follow up with a neurologist who would cover both thoughts, a nerve problem or a TIA.
I understand your worries and hope you will soon know what the cause is.
Kindly,
Kitt
