I was going to open an old thread but didn't, anyway I used to live in Colorado springs, and moved to south Dakota. I started having lots of problems when I moved with arthritis. I thought it was the medical marijuana, but maybe it was just the pressure is different in the mountains. I'm really hurting here, winters are kicking my butt, and summers are so hummid I can't take that either. Maybe the dry mountain air is where I need to be....

I live in Canada. Today I would like to be somewhere warm. Often times on sunny winter days it is so cold. I have read other posts about altitudes being a problem. The air is different. My Family went once to Las Vegas in mid July. The moment I got off the plane I had trouble breathing. It was just way too hot. There are very few perfect climates. I have Osteoarthritis and Fibromyalgia. I have Neurological problems. I hate windy days. I get in much pain. I do have better days when the weather is warm and air is still. Perhaps you should take a vacation to Colorado to see if it makes you feel better.

Likely it's the humidity and the rapid changes that are bothering you. Usually the air is dryer and a bit more stable over the mountains. I've lived in the Midwest, the Southwest and now the Southeast US, and have had some problems in each of those places. Dallas was the best for me (very low humidity, minimal really cold weather.) St. Louis was the worst (high humidity, weather patterns radically erratic.)
