Shoulder replacement / weight lifting

Anyone have a shoulder replaced and was ultimately able to return to weight lifting? Eventually I will probably bed my right shoulder replaced. Had a hip replaced 10 years back this December. I'm still lifting fairly hard but avoiding anything real heavy with pushing type movements like bench presses and shoulder presses. When I first had my shoulder looked at an was told it was a candidate for replacement 6-7 years I was told the after replacement your activities and amount of weight bearing is pretty limited. Right now I'd rather deal with the pain when I'm using the shoulder. At least it's not constant like the hip.. Prett hard to avoid walking.

Just wondering if there has been any new advances like resurfacing that would allow for more vigorous lifting.h


Actually came to this site for prostate cancer info. Hopefully that is in the rear view mirror now and can focus on less serious issues.
