Had RC surgery in March 2015 for a full and a partial tendon tears. Got FROM back in August, but continued to have some daily achy pain in the shoulder and taking 800mg ibuprofen. Last July 2016, had my surgeon get me an MRI to see what the achy pain was.
The MRI stated that there was a 20% thickness tear within the distal supraspinatus tendon along the articular surface measuring 8mm (5/16") in AP dimension. It was stated that this minimal tear may be related to surgery. There was also mild AC arthropathy and bony contusion superior lateral humeral head.
So, now, here in April 2017, still getting daily achy/nagging pain in the shoulder. Continuing to take 800mg ibuprofen once or twice daily. Also use Topricin Arthritis Cream.
Order a bottle of Undenatured Collagen II. Perhaps that will work.
Any ideas of what this pain is? Perhaps I have some type of chronic arthritis pain in the shoulder? Please advise.
BTW, I'm almost 68, a Diabetic II and this is my second RC surgery. Had one on right shoulder in 2007 and that shoulder seems to be fine.
