I have been an asthmatic for 20 plus years.I have tried all manner of alternative remedies to get me off the inhaled steroids and prednisilone and nebuliser. I have always been careful about the food I ate and even though I never eat junk food I was still having trouble.Then I came across a little book in an old book shop that is titled "eat for health".In one chapter was a section on foods that help asthme,COPD and emphysimia.I read it and have totally changed my diet.Its pretty boring but working for me.Basically it includes the following foods....soups made from, red pepper,onion and chill , spinach,onion and ginger, watercress ,onion and thyme ,carrot ,potato and coliander, tomato and basil and mixed veg with mixed herbs.ALL THESE FOODS HAVE KNOWN ANTIOXITANTS I now eat this SOUP up to 6 times a day and have a huge supper of
lean meat....steak,turkey, chicken, fish and tons of veg and salad with jacket pototo.Not only has the asthma improved immensley but the steroid weight is disappearing very quickly.I hope this advise will help someone out there....hugs groovey
