Anyone here have an itchy roof of mouth though.

I have been having an itchy roof of mouth for awhile already. I don't know what the cause is. Even when I drink water I will just feel more itchy though. I really don't like this feeling though. Does anyone here have this condition though. Did you take anything that had helped with it. I have tried taking antihistamine it didn't really worked though. I really want to get rid of this itchy condition ya. It will be cool if it can just be less itchy though. I don't know what to do though.

Can you link the itchiness to a particular food? This happens to me if I eat a lot of something -- like when the tomatoes first come in to the garden.

Sounds like you either have Oral Allergy Syndrome or possibly a fungal infection. What is the color of the roof of your mouth? If it continues you should see an allergist and get tested if you haven't already done so. Sometimes using a numbing throat spray can help ease the itching or sucking on Sucrets.

I think I would want to keep a food diary for a while if the itching is this bad!!...you only need to stick with it for about a month, but you may find some kind of connection there for food, one never knows, and have you had someone look inside your mouth to check everything is as it should be?

Ya I still have the itchy roof of mouth though. I just don't know why I have it ya. It's hard for me to want to do things when I get that itchy feeling though. Does anyone here know what I can do to make it less itchy ya. That would be cool I think.

Try using ice cubes to desensitize your mouth. This could be silent reflux which can coincide with allergies and asthma. My opinion is that the bronchodilators can loosen the esouphagus. I can't spell it though!
