I hope it is not rosacrea in my eyes but they have been SO BAD this year. Will be seeing the dermi at the end of the month so I can find out for sure about that. Otherwise it is allergies and this has not been a good thing for my eyes for quite a while.

The burning and itchies and feeling that there is something in there is not a pleasant sensation.

I had terrible itching in and around my eyes-saw derms even eye docs-they didn't help.
Turned out I had a jaw infection-not sure why most docs wont consider the jaw.
google skull and look how close the roots of teeth are to eyes.
just something to consider-
clearly there is a reason-I pray you find you cause and cure

Thanks for your input. This is a possibility. I notice that one side of my face or one eye is affected more than the other. Figured it was the side that is the weakest in vision but this makes more sense.

Did you notice it was only on one side? By the way, I was being treated by a sinus infection which turned out to be a bad tooth in my mouth. I saw ENT for that but the dentist called the ENT people and the problem was resolved.

It feels like there is something in there (in that one eye) sometimes and that is especially annoying.

Its amazing how many times a root canal or simply a dental infection will mess up the sinus-eyes and ears-for some reason the jaw is a no fly zone for most docs-they simply never look there. FYI I would only use a biological dentist

magoo I was born with hammer toes and dislocation of one hip. The cure for hammer toes is to break them and hope they grow in straight with some kind of support and casting. The big improvement with dislocation of the hip babies is that they now have the babies in a little walker and they can move around and sort of waddle a bit. For cancer of the throat, they remove the skin in the throat and hope it will grow back to be normal. NOT a pretty picture except now the babies can move in their casts a bit more.

Can't imagine this is so very advanced. I also had a problem with a bad tooth in my mouth which caused a throbbing noise which sounded like my heart beat. No matter what way I tried to lie down it was throbbing adding to the regular tintinutis or buzzing noise. The dentist said it was a very rare problem but it took years to calm down.

Have you tried any antihistamine eye drops? A couple I have used are Elestat and Pataday, which are prescription. There also is an OTC antihistamine eye drop called Zaditor that you can get at Walmart. I sometimes get allergic conjunctivitis, which causes redness and itching and creates the feeling of something being in my eye.

Allergies also can thicken the mucus in my eyes, making them feel dry. Sometimes, in addition to an antihistamine eye drop, I will also use a moisturizing drop. My favorite is Refresh Optive.

just my experience but tintinutis is usually dental problem with the wisdom tooth space-mot likely upper.
Most likely you don't have wisdom teeth-what usually happens is the dental surgeon des not pull the tooth correctly and leaves the ligament in.The bone will heal over and leave a space-this space will have bacteria-fungal ect. This usually takes years to cause problems but then it will cause many-the ear issue is typical-ears-eyes-hands ad feet also

Get seen by your eye doctor, you might have something in your eye that the eye doctor can get out. You only have 1 set of eyes and you should get seen by the eye doctor as soon as possible. The eye doctor could then give you a script if it's an allergy.
Never use Visine eye drops as they can damage the eye, a good otc eye drop is Blink or Genteal, but see your eye doctor first. Never take things for granted with the eye's...Hope your doing better soon...Dry eyes or eye allergies or even Sjogren's can cause what your going through, get checked by your eye doctor!
