Reaction to albuterol

I have severe asthma as well as mcs and several other conditions. I have used an albuterol inhaler for about five years with no problem. Recently I had to add nebulizer albuterol treatments. With this latest severe attack I have Benn using it twice a day plus the inhaler, prescribed by my doctor. The other day I began to have some very scary visual disturbances. Now I'm afraid to use it. Has anyone experienced this? Is there an alternative to albuterol other may be easier for a mcs sufferer to tolerate?
