Klonopin and low blood pressure?

Good morning my friends.

I have always had BP on the lower side. Usually 100/60, sometimes a little less.

I know that klonopin makes you tired but I really feel wiped out. I decided to take my BP yesterday and today. My average so far is 78/52.

I am thinking that is adding to my fatigue. I know this med relaxes you and it is making me feel better.

Has anyone else dealt with low BP from a benzo.

I am going to try to increase my sodium intake today. I am been drinking bottles of gatorade to bring my fluids up.

Any suggestions?

Hope things are getting better for you. ((hugs)).

Going to call the doc this afternoon. I just drank a large amount of lipton chicken noodle soup broth since that is high in sodium. Yucko!

Nothing like adding to my health anxiety.

On a better note I am going for an hour massage today to try to ease the pain in my neck/head/temples.

It was pure heaven. I have never had one before. It was a gift for my good friend who helped out a great deal when I went into the hospital. I wanted to thank her and she goes all the time.

It was 60 minutes of bliss....no worries. I think I want to live there.
