Anyone had cyst? Help

I know cysts are common but I'm 'mid cycle' and been experience pain ans pressure inside my right hip and above it also my thigh. It freaks me out. Wondering if anyone has experienced this before? Is it normal also have some leg pain. How are u suppose to know if its just a cyst or cancer by symptoms:( ?? Bad night for HA but pain is real :((

What makes you think it's a cyst? can you feel a lump? The pain could be anything unless you feel
something like a real lump. Even then it could be benign. Peace

Did your doctor diagnose a cyst?

We ladies get swelling in all sorts of inconvenient ways.

I get functional cysts all the time. Almost every time I have had an ultrasound, there has been a cyst. I`have even had one, the size of a grapefruit once. The pain you feel is pretty intense, but cysts are certainly not uncommon what so ever. Please try not to worry! Peace, Lisa

yes i know i think it could be mid cycle pain as im inbweetn 2 weeks before i start again im pretty sure. have you ever experience ovulation pain for 2 days, mines pressure in my hip and thigh and ovary sucks because it makes me worry :(

Hi there, I had truly horrible pain when ovulating. Cysts where huge and usually went away. But a few years ago, when I felt unbelievable pressure and my belly was very distended, my doctor ordered an ultrasound which showed a very large hemorrhagic cyst on the ovary. You may want to ask your doctor to rule this out. I ended up having surgery and thankfully never had pain again. I wish you well :)

Hey Student,

I responded to one of your other threads this morning.  I truly believe you need to see your Dr., be reassured that all is fine and than think about looking into therapy for your health anxiety.
