Earache/headache

I went to the doctor today for an annual check up. Everything checked out great. Last night my ear was hurting. This morning it was better, but my head still kind of hurt on the same side. I normally eat breakfast and couldn't bc of bloodwork. Once I was able to eat, my head get better so I figured that was part of the problem. Oh, and my ear looked totally fine, too. No sign of infection. Anyway, it's starting to hurt again. Ugh. I was telling her how I get random aches in my body so she's testing my vitamin D and said that being low in that can cause body aches. Could that be what this ear/head pain is? Has anyone had anything like this? I thought for sure I had an ear infection. But she said it looked completely normal.

One more thing I forgot to mention. Last night at bedtime I also had a whooshing sound in my ear. It seemed like it was timed with my pulse. I didnt have it all day and haven't had it all day today, but just a bit ago I heard it again for a minute and I'm afraid it will come back when I try to sleep. I forgot to mention that to my doctor too, but I'm going to send her a message.
