mum is in a geriatric psych hospital at this time. had a massive breakdown.sis has been down,i am going with her tomorrow. she has lost the will to live. there are major issues in her life that have caused most of this, my two younger brothers. it is all happening. sis had a breakdown last week and is now on meds and seeing a therapist soon, other brother is in psychiatric respite, me freaking my sis out when the hospital rings her. too many close calls. her nerves are wrecked. i do not see mum making it. going down tomorrow. will advise.

I wish you much peace and strength as you go to be with your mom tomorrow.

I know that you will bring her so much comfort...just seeing you and having her son by her side!

I am sure this will not be an easy visit, so I hope that you are given just the right words to say, and that you will remain calm.

I wish her much healing, and you much strenght as her support!

mum is better. spent the day with her. me 2 sisters and her fiance. we found mum eating outside. that was amazing. she is clearly sedated-for the short term and has started zoloft. dx with clinical depression. she is in a geriatric psych facility, mum is like 63 so they are going to send her to a more general psych hospital. i know the place-been a patient there!!! we have requested that mum have no visitors-bar us four at this time and receive no calls. we explained this to mum and she agrees so it has been put in place. we are working on other issues that have instigated this. thx for your support.

Glad to hear she is stable, and a plan has been made for her continued care.

Take care of YOU as well. This is hard...use your skills to decompress and offset the worry and concern that you are expending.

thank yu everyone. it was a long day, with a lot of traveling. i got home e-mailed sis in canada, posted on hw and went to bed. i thought i would lay down for a little bit.awoke 3 hours later. i was getting aggitated as it took hours for the doctor talk with us. went to bed at 2am. fiance was extremely late in skyping. i was waiting 2 hours for her. my sis thought i was in her car when we left the hospital and she ran over my foot. i only hand sandle type things on. it hurt, i thougt it was fractured. seems fine though. yes need to decompress. i will have a shower. see ya later. thx guys,appreciate your care and support.

Glad things have stabilized with your mom. Hoping for continued improvement for her. Sorry to hear about your foot. I hope it isn't too hurt! Take care of yourself. Take some time to do something to relieve some stress. You've got a lot going on right now.
