Why do the surges of anxiety and other odd symptoms make us think there is something very wrong with our brain. How else could random anxiety come into our lives and make me feel like such a wreck?

We seem to obsess about
that which we most fear, in my situation every panic attack i thought the same
thing, o crap i'm dying, it took a long time to realize it was just fear, Peace

brain tumor was my adolescent worst fear due to a friend with an obsession with the same..I have since overcome that one. But if it ain't one thing it's another.....

Wow same thing here as wearyra ^ comment above. brain tumor was my adolescent fear for years... then after numerous tests i no longer fear tumor and sure enough my headaches got better. but now my anxiety has shifted to a different part of my body.... currently stomach, i guarantee that until i get a bunch of tests done on my stomach i wont feel better but even if i do it will be something else... :(
