So I'm flying to NC from IN shortly L, with my 78 yr old mom. I believe the worst part had to have been driving to the airport lol. I drove. I did excellent in hindsight. A few times during, I had totally felt anxiety rushes but I was still _ok_.

I did have my mom get me a Xanax while I was driving on the massive interstate with HORRIBLE construction. My gawd friends, I don't think I ever care to get used to interstates/construction on a regular basis. YUCK!

ANYWAYYYY... We are boardIng the plane now. It's a bit surreal but I'm actually enjoying ppl watching and talking with strangers (HA)!

Asking for prayers and good wishes and I will keep you all updates. Thank you!

hope you have a nice trip!, driving to the airport is no fun i do it every day bc i work right next to the airport :-)

You totally got this! Even being born and raised in LA, I still can't stand to drive on highways/fwys/near any construction! Enjoy your trip!

I MADE IT! I am FINE! yeah

I did take a Xanax ON THE INTERSTATE lol (I forgot to take before we left).

We are very relaxed & met our new baby. Mom & I are chilling at the hotel now, having a cookie & ice water in the hotel lounge lol (I love taking anything free from hotels LOLOLOLOL).

Lisa!!! So proud and happy for you. I think you are awesome! So glad you took this situation by the horns and showed it who's boss.

Ps, I LOVE people watching at the airport too!
