Just really wanted to make a thread with that title. Hehe.
Anyway, would just like to pop in for a quick visit. I'm trying to limit the time I spend reading and posting on here and similar places. My theory is if I'm reading and talking about
anxiety all the time, how can I recover to the point I can lead a normal life again, since it's always gonna be at the forefront of my mind?
The point is, I need to actively engage in something that isn't focused on anxiety. It has been working fairly well for me so far. Last Thursday, I spent the afternoon helping my friend move house and I went to see a movie on Friday night. I've been invited to go to a football match on Saturday but I might skip that one. Big, noisy and crowded spaces seem to trigger me.
Hope everyone has a good week.

Hey Night Crawler,
Great job and I do feel the same. I need to come back and post the positive things that I take to help others but my obsessive personality really hits hard on looking through each individuals issues and it constantly loops in my thoughts.

Keep up the good work, I do feel the same even though I really try to read posts here as much as I can and support others.
