Hi RCG,
I only get OCD thought patterns when I my anxiety is really high. It is very difficult to have intrusive thoughts you know are unrealistic...but cause worry none the less!
We do have links in our Resources for self help for OCD, so be sure and check those out...
...and do all you can to keep your overall anxiety levels as low as possible, with relaxation techniques. If breathing exercises are not your thing...there are dozens of other to try. Again, see our Resources.
Do you see a GP or P-doc for your prescriptions? If you don't currently have a psychiatrist for your Rx plan...I would highly recommend seeking a referral, and having a complete med evaluation. It sounds like you could use some updates/changes.
