Heat wave and now this!

This heat wave is horrible in Cali, but I woke up with a summer cold today! Small temp up take to 99.6 and sore throat. What is up with this summer? Ugh, I can tell when I start to get a temp rise cause I get achy in arms and legs. Man I am so sore when this happens that I tale ibuprofen and lay down. I can't be down atm I have to take care of my parents in this heat! Blah this is no fun at all.

Yea I went to doc and he said it is the flu that's going around. Ugh! I am sick of the heat although it is cooler thanks to a breeze here in the valley. I slept with a blanket most all of last night. Drinking tons of water and sleep when I can. Sore and cough. I ate some chicken soup so I hope I am going to mend quickly.
