I keep checking for my admission for fall but have not received it and it is late. I can't enroll in classes and my financial data is unavailable. I search and found out on a web page that I needed to take one class at least or I would reapply. I'm nervous and did not know I needed to apply for leave of absence but the date for that was last year for spring. I had my panic attacks three weeks before school starts. I'm doing better and even went walking around the block by myself. I just keep thinking I know I'm not going to be kick out but reapply takes another year. I'm 28, I wanted graduate when I 'm 30.

S.T.,
Have you contacted the admissions office, and/or talked to your student counselor? There may be an exception for you since this was a health issue...?
It's worth a try, and it doesn't hurt to ask!
Wising you the best in getting back in, and on with your courses!

I can still file a leave of absence but I have to go to the university to get my division to sign the form and send to the administration. It makes nervous because while I feel comfortable with my surroundings. The last time I attempted to leave to the similar
location, I panicked halfway there. I was with someone when that happened. So going by myself, will be hard.

S.T.,
You've got this! Anxiety has taken enough from you already...don't let it have this opportunity to file your application!
Use your coping skills. Positive Mantras and Breathing Exercises are key for me. Repeat reassuring statements to your self like:
'I can do this.' 'I am okay, this is something I CAN and need to get through.'
If you do get hit with symptoms or panic...remember, you've been through this before...and while it is NOT fun...you made it passed the episode and were fine. This is a favorite mantra of mine when I am feeling symptoms of A/P...
'I am okay, this is only anxiety making me feel this way.'
I know you can do this. Dig Deep and use your skills!
We go with you in spirit...and are cheering you on!

I'm going a few days to calm down to go and my mom says she will come with me.

Sorry about
my responses. I felt very anxious and a little depressed. Now I'm ok and I will go next week to the campus. It has been 4 months since I've been there, it will feel like old times.

Returned home exhausted but glad that I had no panic attacks. I filed the papers to excuse myself from the semester. The administrator said I can miss four semesters only. So now I have 3 left.
