GG is right. Peace of mind can be priceless, but lipomas are pretty common. I have one on my chest that almost feels like a bone (it's very hard) and protrudes a little bit. As long as it doesn't grow, I'm told not to worry.
Hopefully if your doctor can't see you, maybe you can go to an urgent care facility. Don't be alarmed by the word "urgent". It really just means you don't have to make an appointment and can be seen within a few hours (if there are a lot of people there).

Over the decades, I have spent countless hours obsessing over myriad health issues. Things which could have easily been resolved by just going to the doctor. Instead I caused myself so much anxiety and anguish. Not to mention the stress I added to my family.
