Morning folks.

How has your week been? Check in if you have the time we like to hear from you.

I'm not having the best time at the moment my social anxiety is really playing up but i'm doing all I can to reduce the anxiety and in the process of finding a new therapist. I am also worried about my Mum who has breast cancer she gets her results back on Tuesday to see if her surgery was successful and will then start 4 weeks of radiotherapy so hopefully things will be ok.

Taking things a day at a time. Lots of health anxiety lately. Been unconsciously grinding and clenching my teeth the last few weeks because of stress. Resulting teeth/jaw/ear pain has had me worried about heart trouble (Googled it)

pushing hibee. keep pushing mate. we are our best advocates, and know what helps. to everyone, keep seeking support use the tools that members provide, in particular from hibee and scaredy cat. and from the turtle in the past!!! lol. less active on hw but think of ya all. as I said in depression forum, ido think of ya all. and the long term lurking members. ht.

Yes her appointment was today not good news they are going to have to do more surgery and remove some lymph nodes. I have sent you a message on FB with more details.

I'm sorry to hear that. When I have anxiety episodes, I worry about my parents, not because they're unhealthy (they're actually doing pretty well in their 60s/70s), but just because, you know, they're older, and I want them to be around as long as possible. When I have anxiety, it's hard to keep those thoughts at bay and just enjoy that they're here with me now and that's a great thing.

Yours must be tougher since there's a tangible thing happening. You're always here for others, so the board will be here for you.

Hi Hibee,

Even though I don't know you I am sending prayers to you and your Mom.

I take care of my elderly Mom who has Alzheimer's / Dementia 24/7 and even though I have been handling it well (so my best friend tells me) I'm still scared to when her day will come. Except for my best friend I really don't have a support system.

My Mom has also been suffering from chronic headaches. I took her to the ER a couple of weeks ago where the CT-Scan came out normal, had her to a neurologist last April, her family doctor, etc.

Tomorrow I am bringing her back to her neurologist (a 1 hour drive each way) and I'm having so much anxiety about driving (one of my triggers). I know logically that after we go that I will feel relief from this anxiety....

Thank you Hibee! I hope your Mum's surgery has good results. If I were in your shoes I would feel really scared.. Dealing with our parents problems is not easy at all...
