Hi Kevin and welcome!
I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling with anxiety and that it has understandably crept into the social aspect of your life. Anxiety does have a way of shaking our confidence in various ways...interpersonal situations being a common one.
It can be hard to say just how much of what we perceive from others is accurate. You may be filtering others reactions toward you through anxiety...and I wouldn't be surprised if you were far less awkward than you believe.
Still, regardless, you need to feel confident...so I like the idea of getting help from a professional source in body language and confident speaking. However, you may want to consider self help sources first...which are very effective, and will be less intimidating...not to mention expensive!
Also, doing all you can to manage your anxiety will be a goal of course! What if anything have you tried thus far? Most people find a good management plan with Therapy, medication and/or self help. What you choose is a personal decision and one you should discuss with your doctor...but of course you can get going with the self help at anytime by visiting our Resources at the top of the main forum page here. It's filled with great material to check out!
Keep talking with us as well! We understand, care and support is key, so post anytime.
