Day 4 lexapro

Hi all!

So today will be day 4 on lexapro, start up has not been difficult besides nausea, low appetite, brain fog and waking up around 4-6 every morning. The first day on lexapro I would say was a little more difficult but overall I have had a smooth start up

Now ever since I started lexapro 3 days ago I actually felt some immediate relief. Every morning I still wake up with a bit of anxiety but not like before I started the pill, and still sort of in a brain fog. But towards the afternoon I feel a little more like myself, nausea is down so I’ll force myself to eat.

I’m happy that I feel as if this working for me already but is this normal?

P.s.
This is not my first time using lex and I’m on 5mg.

I think 5mg is a very low dose. But if it’s working for you, that’s great.

Roxy, I'm glad that the Lexapro is lowering your anxieties some.

I hope the Lexapro will continue to get better at calming you down. Hopefully it'll work even better for you than it is now starting in the near future.

Thank you everyone! I’m so thankful it worked immediately. At first I was a little concerned as I was not sure if it was normal for it to work so quickly.

But staying positive and praying it continues to work great for me.

Today will be day 6, so far the only side effects I still notice are dry mouth, brain fog and very minimal anxiety in the mornings but subsides very quickly. I have energy some days and other days i just want to be lazy. I am finally getting my appetite back as well.

I’ve been home on medical leave as well for the past 2 weeks so I’m sure being home has helped too. I’m enjoying this little vacation from work 🙂

Hello everyone.

Today will be day 10 on lexapro, so far I am still feeling good. I got my appetite back which is great!

I still have my moments of minimal anxiety in the mornings and emotions up and down but I know part of this is due to my menstrual cycle coming up 😩 but overall I’m doing great!

I saw my doctor for a follow up a few days ago and he had authorized me to return to work on the 7th. It’ll have been almost a month that I was on leave. It’s been nice but sort of boring haha I ran out of shows to binge on on Netflix. But I do have to admit i love being able to be home with my baby
