Hey there,
I currently have a new symptom and am curious if people have experienced something similar. Lately, my head has been tingling in the way that it tingles when a movie or song moves you, or when you scratch an itch or clean your ears--it's not a painful feeling but it's as though my brain is over-firing. It lasts about
three seconds and it keeps happening a couple times per hour and I'm not sure if I'm making it happen or it's happening on its own and it's something I need to get checked out. If I busy my mind (or take a Xanax), I think I feel it less. I am, of course, thinking the worst: early MS or epilepsy, a tumor, small seizures, etc. I know it's unlikely but alas.
Full disclosure, I've had major health anxiety over this last year (from shortness of breath to heart palpitations, to brain fog, etc) and so I feel as though this is another way my brain is tricking me into thinking I have something more serious. It's so hard to tell because the symptoms are very real but whether or not it's a sign of something serious, is hard to tell. To clarify, I don't have any other symptoms (no pain or double vision, no balance issues), just this head tingling.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
