Their are many components to overcoming mental illness.
One thing that is important to your mental health is eating healthy. If you eat healthy, just knowing that you have a healthy diet can help you emotionally.
Also, for me, I mostly stay away from drinking certain sodas that contain a lot of caffeine, although a healthy amount of caffeine does have some benefits. I used to have bad anxiety issues years ago. And I don't want those excessive anxieties to return. If I were currently drinking lots of sodas that have high amounts of caffeine in them (like I used to), I think their's a chance that I could start feeling very nervous again. That's the last thing I want!
I do drink Mountain Dew soda once in a great while. But not on a regular basis. My mental health is so important to me, after all.
