That does sound bad. You can be glad the food poisoning wasn't worse.
My lower back went out a couple of years ago, and it was like on a Thursday, like a 4 day weekend. I was basically homebound at the time, and pretty much now.
And since I didn't get out much, I didn't know what to do. I hadn't been to a chiropractor near me in a couple of years, didn't know if the chio I used to go to for that was still in business. I couldn't get there to see for I couldn't drive to see if he was still in business.
Being old school, I first thought of information was the yellow pages, not the computer, and went to a phone book which the small print said was out of date, but I didn't see that. I looked up chiropractor and called the one I thought it was I use to go to and that phone number rang but it was out of business.
My back is killing me, I am taking too much Aleve for the pain, which is having side affects. Living alone, I don't have anybody I can ask about this. With the pain comes poor decision making. And this is going on for days.
I finally get my helper to take me to a new chio, who wants to take x-rays. Oh, gosh. I don't want to take x-rays, so my helper takes me back near my house to my old chio, whose son is now in business, but he's not working that day, and won't be open until Monday, which is 3 more days.
This is a nightmare. I sit it out at home, taking pain pills which are not good for me, my back in high level pan, which causes poor decisions. It is a stacking up situation. Several levels.
I don't know what to advise but I have an idea of what you are going through.
How did you get food poisoning?
