Volante,I would chalk up your "bad memory" to anxiety ~ I know if someone is talking to me or giving me directions when I am anxious my mind is off worrying about something and then bang, I never remembered a word said by the other person.
I have read your blog and it is quite good. I believe in blogs, journaling, and keeping diaries where you can write down all your thoughts, the good ones and anxious ones, and then not worry anymore about the anxious thoughts.
The best part of journaling is it is just for you and nobody will read it so you can vent, or celebrate all you want. Nobody is going to judge your comments.
