I'm down in Florida visiting my mom and having a really nice time. But, before I left, I had a major depression meltdown. I ended up calling my doctor's exchange and he prescribed me Zoloft. I've only been taking it for about five days, but I was wondering if anyone else is on it and could share some experiences with me.

I'm on it , it has helped me so much , I drove for 30 min on the freeway by my self today and with Agorophobia that I have I haven't gone that far in 4 months , I still get anxiety and hight heart rate but I haven't had a full blown panic attack in 3 weeks , it's Alomost unreal because I had them daily before I started .
I'm hoping with dose increase to 50 it could benefit even more.

Sorry to hear your depression is back the Zoloft should help but it can take a couple of weeks to kick in so stick with it and if things don't improve go back and see your doctor.

I hope you start to feel better soon.

I've done the best on Zoloft out of all the medications I've tried, but we are all different, and something that works wonderful for one, may not work well for another.

You started on a high dose, did your doctor explain why?
