I'm tackling my anxiety/insomnia from all angles....Lexapro, Xanax, Lunesta, Meditation, mindfulness & now EEG Neuro feedback. 4th session in an hour. I'm very relaxed after each session. Has anyone tried this? Thoughts? Does it work? If you're interested -Lots of vids on Youtube this one seems to explain it well. Start @ 47seconds

Looks great!! Similar to biofeeback, but maybe for a wider range of issues...?

Are you doing this through your therapist/P-doc...or is there a home alternative...which would be minus the sensor hook up I'd imagine.

SC, My neighbor has been doing it for yrs. She is a retired from working at a state mental hospital. Actually, a hospital for the criminally insane. She hooks up the sensors to my skull and I either watch a movie or play a game. They've been using it on veterans with PTSD. Anyway, I'm so relaxed after each session. I'll post once my 20 visits are completed. :)WTBN
