I sometimes take my activan generic Lorazapham at bedtime, and have noticed my morning anxiety is gone. Anyone else use as a sleep aid?

Hi
Yes I have used many sleep aids over the years and some are better than others and most of them work well on anxiety.

Deb. My wife has used ativan for over twenty five years, at bed time and has experienced much the same results you have, I used xanax the same way
the effects of being calm the next morning were nice.

Ativan and lorazepam are drugs that belong to the benzodiazepine group and are commonly used for anxiety. It's good to know that it works some. I use zoloft although not as a sleeping aid. I opted for natural remedies to help me sleep. I use the zoloft as prescribed to me once a day after dinner. Then when it's bedtime I drink chamomile tea or honey with warm milk to help me sleep.

I used it last night for sleep and today I feel calm. Mornings are usually tense for me and today, all feels well. I've done this before but only rarely. I want it to work when I really need it and not depend on it for daily use.
