My anxiety really seems to stem from the symptoms i get like dizziness, foggy brain, visual problems, headaches, etc.
I went to see a mediocre eye doctor recently and he told me that i had mild exophoria. I did some research and found case studies of some people with exophoria who were experiencing anxiety and another who felt he was going "mad".
I recently spoke to an eye doctor who told me that it might be vertical exophoria and that its not uncommon that many of her patients complain of anxiety as one of their chief symptoms.
Even when I'm in a good mood, visual problems have been the common denominator so to speak.
Examples:-Had a very hard time looking for daughter's xmas presents under xmas tree on Christmas and i became confused, upset, and anxiety set in.
-This morning i had trouble finding my shirt in the closet and it felt overwhelming and difficult, then frustrating and scary.
-At pharmacy today and began having eye pain in forehead and confusion/concentration problems looking at all the items on the shelf.
I see that there are forums related to these symptoms all over the internet and no one has seemed to find a cure even with anxiety medicine like SSRIs.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
