Anybody get the feeling when there driving like there's an empty feeling in your stomach or if there to much bass in the music your chest like vibrates??? I used to love driving everywhere now when I drive home from work this happens it's very annoying and I notice I hold my stomach in or something weird like that. I get home I'm all weak from the drive home then I settle in and I'm fine I don't like when this happens. Also when this happens my nose seems like it stuffy but it's so hard to explain.

PK,
Do you feel anxious while driving...or is it just the physical sensations?
I use to feel D/P D/R while driving...but not anymore.
It could be that the vibration of the car is just enough to set off your 'Super Scanner'...and then the mind starts looking for symptoms in a sense.
Either way...use those coping skills before, during and after driving!

Do you think you might be feeling car sick?
I also wonder if you may have felt that way one day (anxiety, being sick, whatever the reason) and now you're hyper aware of how you may feel while you're in the car and focusing on it and then feeling the same sensations again?
For example: I had low blood sugar one day around 2 pm and it lead to an anxiety attack. Then each day for the next week at 2pm if start to get really anxious all over again because I was afraid I'd feel the same way at 2pm again.

The reason I asked about
whether or not you were feeling anxious is because I sometimes get symptoms, even when I am not aware of being conscientiously anxious...
...but sometimes the anxiety is under the surface of what we actually feel...yet it's still there...enough to cause the sensations.
I love driving now! I still have other things that cause me anxiety...but with management tools...the everyday things don't get to me like they once did.
Keep working your program...it's a process. :)
