Considering pregnancy... but I take Pristiq... advice?

My husband and I were thinking of trying for a baby this spring/summer. My psychiatrist is of the opinion that I should stay on the 25 mg of Pristiq (lowest dose) I take, and get off of it during my last trimester.

Have any women in here decided to stay on their antidepressants during pregnancy? I feel nervous taking it while pregnant, but I also feel nervous not taking it while pregnant...

Congratulations! This is an exciting time for you...one that shouldn't be hampered by Rx worries! :)

I therefore encourage you to find an OBGYN that has experience treating mothers with CI's/ongoing Rx needs...

...and to make sure all your doctors are consulting among each other to ensure you and baby's best care.

With the right medical team and support, you will do just fine! :)
