Disability hearing anxiety

So I've been waiting for my disability hearing since February 2015 when I graduated medical school and couldn't make it to even just one of many interviews I had in my field. I was pulling over on busy highways getting out and running because I couldn't breathe. Did that quote a few times. So I went home and decided enough is enough I can't do this anymore I need to focus on myself or I won't be able to even take care of my children before I know it! It keeps getting worse and worse even with every ounce of help I get and have gotten for the past 15 years. Anyway, my disability hearing (since I appealed my denial years ago) is coming up on a march 20th of this year. It's so close now I'm freaking out! Haven't found a lawyer yet so I am working on that right now. I am
SO SCARED of going to this. Lord knows I need it, I can't work. I don't sleep can't eat I can't function most of the time I am in a state of panic this has gotten way out of hand even with all of my help I get and have gotten. Any advice on this? I am going to be an emotional mess that day, praying my meds work and I don't run out panicking in the middle of it! Does the lawyer do all the work for you or do you have to get up and talk? I'd lose it!

It is very stressful going through these hearings but your lawyer should help you through the process and it's actual good if your really anxious as it shows the people who are taking your case how bad your anxiety is.

In the meantime double up on your coping skills I like to use Mindfulness Meditation as I find it very effective.
