I am sorry to hear of your anxiety challenges and fears. I understand your worry about losing control as this is a common struggle amongst anxiety sufferers.
My fears mostly revolve around health issues...but fear of losing one's mind is a common concern as well. We have many members with the same issue.
What if anything have you tried for recovery so far? Medication and/or therapy are the usual treatments sought for relief.
Self help is another step you can take. You'll find a lot of helpful material to work with in our Resources at the top of the main forum page here. We have exercises for general stress relief, as well as links for beating panic. The Therapy Worksheets are very effective for working through fearful thoughts...so be sure to check them out.
