Has anyone used xanax long term ?
I’ve been on .125mg (once a day) for about a year now.
I can’t stop because of my irrational fear of getting seizures . I’ve never had a seizure before but that’s my biggest fear. I have heard horror stories! /:

Benzos are not ideal long term. They are best used for a finite amount of time, or as needed.

You are on such a small dose, that discontinuation would not be difficult...and seizures would not be an issue to worry about.

If you did decide to stop, you could easy do the skip a day/days method...or water titration if you were worried about withdrawl.
