Although I am sorry it's due to returning anxiety. :/
Yes, there is definitely a need for moderation with the alcohol. One or two glasses at the most for me is actually really helpful for unwinding and sleeping well...but more than that, and I risk feeling lousy the next day.
Don't beat yourself up...just dial it back to where it is a healthy level again.

Use those coping skills until you feel better...and beyond for maintenance!
