Hi All, Sorry to be MIA

Hi Family!

I apologize for not being around the last couple of weeks. We got a new puppy...and while I love her and know it won't always be this hard....this constant attention and training I am needing to do is draining my energy big time.

She is not really getting the potty training thing very fast, so I am CONSTANTLY cleaning floors and rugs and taking her outside multiple times an hour. She is also very bitey, and while harmless now, won't be when she is 40+ lbs, so I am also always disciplining against nipping...and it just exhausts me.

Please forgive my temporary hiatus. It will not be forever...but I just am just tapped out atm...but will try and be around more and more soon.

Good luck with your new puppy! What breed is it?

I have a 2 year old pom and I feel like we're still in training mode sometimes, haha.

I know how you feel with a puppy SC. Mine is 15 months and still acts like a pup. We are constantly correcting her, she has some bad habits. And biting was one, she doesn't bite like she use to though so there is some relief in sight for you in the future. I trained mine to go potty on pads before I got her to go outside. We got her in the dead of winter and it was too cold to take her out when she was a baby. Getting from the pads to going outside took some thinking. I thought I could put her pads outside but that didn't work.

It can get frustrating, I do know that. Have patience, puppy will get it.
