alcohol and SSRI question

For those of you who drink alcoholic beverages while taking SSRIs, do you find that the alcohol affects you differently than it did before you took SSRIs? Also, do you find a difference between the impact of various types of beverages -- i.e., beer, wine, hard liquor, etc.? (I am not asking for opinions about whether it is smart or dumb to drink while on SSRIs; that is a different question, which I have already discussed with my doctors).

As HT mentions it depends which medication you are taking as some will increase the amount of alcohol in your system so you will get drunk quicker.
